While managing IT was his core competence, he has conducted many courses for employees, spoken in seminars, conducted full-fledged semester courses in colleges and organized several workshops/seminars. Teaching has been an integral part of his career. He set up Samadhan Bridge Academy in 2010 and worked with Maharashtra Bridge Association (MBA) (Heart and Soul Program). He was the head of Education Program and Teaching Committee of Bridge Federation of India for over two years. He was appointed principal of Bridge Pathshala, a unit affiliated to BFI, in November 2019 and managed it for over four years. He has also served Bridge as an administrator – he was vice president of MBA and president of Bombay Contract Bridge Association. He automated all club games to give instant results and deal records and was the pioneer of Summer Monsoon League conducted by MBA.

He realized that awareness of the game of Bridge was the biggest stumbling block for development of the game. To increase awareness, He authored a book “52 lessons from a card deck” and created a self-learning bridge app called “Learn Game of Bridge”.

Apart from teaching Bridge, Ravi is also a regular Bridge player in club, state, and national level events. He has a Bridge team named “Samadhan.” Over the years, his significant bridge accolades are the following:

• Two-time winner of BFI Winter nationals in Silver category
• Two-time finalist of BFI nationals in Gold category
• Semi-finalist in BFI Master’s event
• Two-time Winner of Pairs event in Goa
• Winner of BAM event in Bharatiya Tournament
• Winner of team event in two MBA tournaments and pairs event of MBA

Samadhan Bridge Academy has a Memorandum of Understanding with Bridge Pathshala for use of its course material for various training programs.
